Perils For Pedestrians 71



--We drop in on The Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.--The Urban Land Institute hosts a conference on Smart Growth in Atlanta, Georgia.--We look at local planning in a neighborhood near the Kentucky School for the Blind in Louisville.--Blind pedestrians have problems with borderless parking lots.--Blind pedestrians also have problems with a skewed railroad crossing.--We ask the Centers for Disease Control about the importance of physical activity and walking.. . . . . . . .
